Teen Summer Camps

Teen Summer Camps
Senior Forum is the first and biggest of our four teen summer camps. Our mission is to help participants learn how to make the most of every moment, uncover their unique abilities, and develop greater confidence, while mastering strategies for academic success. The skills campers learn at our high school summer camps will help ease school stress, build study skills, improve grades and increase test scores, including the SAT and ACT. Our life skills courses show students ways to discover their strengths, pursue goals, make big decisions, solve problems and resolve conflicts. We focus on self-expression, peer relationships, trust in others and maintaining one's individuality in the world. Campers entering grades 9 through 12 learn new skills that prepare them for the next grade level and the next big step, college. Senior Forum teen summer camps are available at all eight SuperCamp locations across the U.S.

In 2009, SuperCamp introduces its first Senior Forum teen summer camps in Mandarin and in Spanish. Both programs will be Southern California summer camps, with the Mandarin-language camp being held at Claremont Colleges and the Spanish-language camp located at Cal State San Marcos.

Teen Summer Camps
Another one of our high school summer camps is Leadership Training Team, our teen summer camp available to graduates of Senior Forum. This summer camp program provides students with the opportunity to further develop and enhance leadership, interpersonal, and self-management skills. It also challenges campers to further develop their academic and personal confidence in the areas of:
Communication
Teamwork
Mentoring
Goal setting
Personal motivation
Peer counseling and support
Effective Leadership Styles

Every member of the Leadership Training Team receives more specialized training before and during the program as they assume higher levels of responsibility. They get the chance to serve as a role model for other students through their embodiment of the 8 Keys of Excellence. This leadership training provides a strong foundation for future scholastic work and life experience.

Leadership Summer Camp
Leadership Forum is for returning SuperCampers interested in climbing even higher to develop leadership skills. Specifically, it's our teen summer camp for students who have graduated from Leadership Training Team at a Senior Forum SuperCamp and who are going into grades 11, 12, or first-year college. This summer camp program is seven days long and focuses on activities that challenge you to push yourself to your personal edge so that your style, habits, and values are more fully realized.

An incredible Ultra Ropes Course, Team Leaders specially trained in advanced leadership skills, and events that let participants immediately put their new skills into action are just a couple of the highlights of Leadership Forum. Leadership Forum is limited to 80 campers. Among teen summer camps, it is the ultimate individualized experience.
